Join East Metropolitan Health Service in a key leadership role responsible for the strategic management of EMHS fleet, property, leasing and contract portfolios. This position provides an opportunity to influence service delivery across a large and complex health service while leading initiatives that deliver strong commercial, governance, compliance and operational outcomes. Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, you will drive improvements across property and fleet services that support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to the Western Australian community.

About the Opportunity:

The Manager Property and Fleet Services leads and manages the EMHS Fleet and Property Services portfolio on an area-wide basis. The role is responsible for strategic fleet planning and optimisation, property and lease management, contract administration, governance, compliance, stakeholder engagement and leadership of team resources. The successful applicant will provide high-level advice on fleet, property and leasing matters, lead complex projects, manage contractual arrangements and ensure service delivery aligns with 
legislative and organisational requirements.

Suitability Criteria:

  •  Extensive experience managing property, leasing and/or fleet management portfolios in a large and complex organisational environment.
  •  Demonstrated leadership capability with experience leading teams, managing resources and delivering strategic outcomes.
  •  Highly developed strategic thinking, research and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues and drive continuous improvement.
  •  Advanced communication, consultation and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build productive relationships.
  •  Highly developed organisational and report-writing skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a high-pressure environment.
  •  Current C or C-A class driver’s licence.

In addition to the essential and desirable criteria outlined in the attached Job Description Form, applicants with tertiary qualifications in Property or a related discipline and experience within the health or public sector will be highly regarded.
