About the Role
As a Manager HR Business Partnering, you will be a trusted strategic advisor to Executive and senior leaders, leading the delivery of contemporary HR services that enable our people and our organisation to thrive.
You will lead high-performing HR teams, build strong partnerships across the organisation and deliver innovative workforce solutions that improve organisational capability, workforce performance and employee experience.
Working as part of the WACHS Workforce Leadership Team, you will contribute to the strategic direction of People, Capability and Culture while supporting leaders to navigate complex workforce challenges and drive positive organisational change.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic HR leadership and partnering with Executive and senior operational leaders.
- Leading and developing high-performing HR Business Partnering teams.
- Delivering workforce planning, organisational development and people strategies aligned to business priorities.
- Providing expert advice on complex workforce, employee relations and organisational matters.
- Leading workforce projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
- Building trusted relationships across WACHS to influence outcomes and strengthen organisational capability.
- Driving a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability and high performance.
- Contributing to the strategic leadership of People, Capability and Culture across WA Country Health Service.

- Strategic HR Leadership – Demonstrated ability to lead contemporary HR services and develop workforce strategies that improve organisational capability and business performance.
- Partnering and Influencing – Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, influence senior stakeholders and provide strategic, evidence-based advice that supports informed decision making.
- Leadership – Demonstrated success leading, developing and inspiring high-performing teams while fostering an inclusive, collaborative and values-based workplace culture.
- Workforce Expertise – Demonstrated understanding of contemporary workforce practice, employment legislation and complex people matters, with the ability to deliver practical and sustainable workforce solutions.
- Critical Thinking and Continuous Improvement – Demonstrated ability to analyse complex issues, think strategically and implement innovative solutions that improve organisational performance.
