About The Role:
The Manager Enterprise Procurement provides influential advice and assurance to the department to ensure that significant and medium risks goods and services procurement is conducted in accordance with relevant internal policies, Procurement Act legislative requirements, and that awarded contracts are recorded and reviewed on the department’s Contract Register. The role acts as a central point of advice on governance and compliance and assists procurement managers where required to navigate all stages of the procurement process. The role is also critical in ensuring all stakeholders relevant to a procurement process are informed so that procurement does not occur unnecessarily or violates established buying rules.
About You:
We are seeking a dedicated procurement professional with extensive goods and services procurement experience.
Our ideal candidate has strong communication skills, and is able to balance competing priorities and respond positively to change.
You will have proven experience in procurement planning, sourcing, evaluation and contract development, supported by a strong understanding of the WA Procurement Rules.
You will be able to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively focusing on delivering the highest level of quality outcomes for our customers.
The position operates in Personal Leadership context. This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn.
