This vacancy is for a period of 4 months with a possible extension, commencing 21 September 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.

This vacancy is available while the substantive occupant is acting in another position.

Role 

We’re looking for applicants keen to work closely with the judiciary to develop and improve operational policy and procedure for the Court and to drive business improvement projects.The role leads a large team responsible for the management of resources required for hearings, including listings, courtroom allocation, circuits, technology support, secretarial services and resource and administration services. The role also provides high-level advisory support to the Executive Manager and the Chief Judge.

Suitability Requirements 

Through the recruitment process, we will be looking for a candidate who can demonstrate skills, experience and attributes in relation to the following:  

  1. Identify, plan and deliver business improvement initiatives.
  2. Proactively develop others and implement strategies to ensure the team are suitably skilled and knowledgeable to meet business requirements.
  3. Think critically, assess options and impacts, take calculated risks, and to leverage effective relationships with the judiciary and your team.
