About the role
As part of a team, the Financial and Management Accountant is key in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data, processes and systems. Attends to College monthly, statutory whole-of-Government and annual financial reporting obligations. Develops and prepares College’s operating budget. Ensures that internal accounting and procurement controls and procedures are followed. Ensures the accuracy and reliability of financial information; accounting and reportable data is maintained and compliant with accounting standards, policy and procedures.
Suitability Requirements and Eligibility

To be considered suitable for this role, you will:
- Possess current and valid Australian working rights (e.g. Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or an appropriate working visa). Please note, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Hold or obtain a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance (less than 6 months old) before you commence.
- In accordance with the National Child Safety Principles, people who work directly with children and young people, you must have a current Working with Children Check or be able to successfully apply for one to be eligible for appointment to this position (where applicable).
