This is a fixed term full time vacancy for five (5) months, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency, commencing as soon as possible.
About the role
Join a dynamic Directorate at the heart of Corrective Services, providing critical state-wide support to custodial and community operations across Western Australia. The Operational Support Directorate drives operational excellence through security governance, policy development, compliance and assurance, emergency management, workforce capability, and recruitment initiatives that help deliver safe, effective, and community-focused correctional services.
As an Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level support to the Division Head in a fast-paced and influential environment where priorities are constantly evolving. This pivotal role is responsible for coordinating complex diaries, managing confidential correspondence, supporting committees and meetings, tracking actions and records, and preparing briefing notes, reports and research material to support informed decision-making. Working closely with senior leaders and a broad range of stakeholders across the public and private sectors, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office through strong organisational skills, sound judgement, discretion and a proactive approach to managing competing demands. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic outcomes while supporting executive leadership.
Eligibility
To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.

Permanent, fixed term, full time and part time appointments may be offered at Perth Metropolitan area during this period.
