About the role
The Counterhand is an all-rounder role and you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our students and staff enjoy their experience in the College Café. Your day to day tasks may include:

• Greeting and serving customers with a smile
• Preparing and serving food and drinks
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the café
• Assisting with stock management and restocking supplies
• Supporting the team to keep operations running smoothly
• Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have a genuine love for hospitality and customer service, be adaptable and able to work in different areas of the business, have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment, can handle busy periods with a positive attitude and energy and have experience in a fast paced hospitality role.

To be considered eligible for employment, you must possess current and valid Australian work rights, such as Australian citizenship, permanent residency or an appropriate working visa. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

You must also hold, or have the ability to obtain, a Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and a Working with Children (WWC) Card. Appointment will be subject to the satisfactory completion of any mandatory pre-employment screening requirements.
