The Construction Training Fund has one Permanent Full Time position available.
Who are we?
The CTF is a small team responsible for administration of a levy on all building and construction works in Western Australia. We use this levy to assist in a skilled workforce by funding training and programs for apprentices, trainees and their employers in the building and construction industry.
Our modern offices are based in Belmont with ample free parking onsite.

Job Description
The Communications and Marketing Officer supports the Communications and Marketing Manager to implement a range of strategies to increase awareness of the CTF and its strategic initiatives.
The Communications and Marketing Officer coordinates and generates appropriate content for a range of communications platforms, curates CTF website and social media streams; implements CTF sponsorship programs and coordinates events and CTF presence at expos.
Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
- Strong technical knowledge across SEO, UX, information architecture, digital copywriting, analytics and content management systems
- Well developed research, investigation and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to use a range of social media and digital communications platforms to effectively deliver key messages to target groups.
- Well developed organisational skills and the capacity to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
- Demonstrates strong prioritisation and time management skills, aligning content initiatives with organizational objectives and audience needs to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Well developed interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, with demonstrated capacity to work constructively with individuals and within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to write for a range of audiences, styles and formats, including the ability to generate accurate, concise copy, proof-read and edit.
Desirable
- Experience within a journalism and/or broadcast media environment.
- Experience in photography and/or with software for creating publication-ready photographs.
