The Role
The Communications and Marketing Coordinator leads the development, implementation and evaluation of marketing strategies for the Department and vocational education and training sector policies and initiatives. This position is responsible for overseeing and executing significant advertising campaigns and managing the procurement contracts, budget and delivery timeline associated with each campaign. The position is responsible for coordinating major campaigns, including the “You can make it here” TAFE campaign, developing engaging content across multiple channels, and providing strategic marketing advice and support to WA TAFEs to ensure a cohesive whole-of-sector approach. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the role contributes to increasing awareness, engagement and participation in training opportunities across the State.

As a measure to achieve equality under sections 51, 66R and 66ZP of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, young people (24 years of age and under) and people with disability who meet the requirements of the position may be prioritised for appointment.
