This is a Permanent Full-Time appointment contracted to work 76 hours per fortnight.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: As part of the Community Pharmacotherapy Program Team, you will provide clinical and professional expertise to Community Prescribers and service providers to support them in their provision of Opiate Antagonist Treatment. Provide comprehensive evidence-based nursing care through a telehealth model. Facilitate and promote consumer safety and quality of care. The Clinical Nurse practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
Area Profile: The East Metropolitan Health Service comprises an extensive hospital and health service network that aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than 670,000 Western Australians in its catchment area.
Our hospital network works together to provide a combination of tertiary, secondary and specialist health care services including emergency and critical care, state trauma, elective and emergency surgery, general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient services, aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and women’s, children’s and neonates services.

Next Step is the leading government drug and alcohol treatment service in Western Australia providing a range of clinical services. The treatment services provided by Next Step include:
- Outpatient services at East Perth and via integrated Community Alcohol and Drug Services at six metropolitan locations
- The Inpatient Withdrawal Unit at East Perth
- An onsite pharmacy service based at East Perth
- Outpatient and inpatient youth services via the Integrated Drug and Alcohol Youth Service. Community programs including the Community Pharmacotherapy Program and the Clinical Advisory Service.
