This recruitment process offers a Fixed Term position for Full-Time hours with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.

We currently have 1 FTE available to cover maternity leave.

South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) Mental Health delivers comprehensive public mental health care through a network of community mental health services, hospitals and community health centres. Across Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Mental Health (FSFH Mental Health) and Peel and Rockingham Kwinana Mental Health (PaRK Mental Health), specialist services are provided across the South Metropolitan region, supporting consumers with accessible, collaborative and high-quality mental health care. SMHS Mental Health will soon open a new state-of-the-art facility at Fremantle Hospital designed to offer expanded and modern mental health services for our community. The three-storey space will provide an additional 40 mental health beds and a 24-hourMental Health Crisis Centre, ensuring compassionate and innovative care for those who need it most.

Rockingham Peel Group is part of the South Metropolitan Health Service, one of the fastest growing health services in Western Australia and comprises two hospital campuses, Rockingham General Hospital and Murray District Hospital, in addition to community and mental health services across Peel, Rockingham and Kwinana. 

Peel Community Mental Health Service has recently moved into a renovated clinic that offers the highest standard of safety for staff and clients. The interior design is second to none with welcoming and calming colours, contours and furniture.

The EEP team is ready to welcome a skilled and caring clinical nurse to join our team.

The EEP Program is an evidence based intensive care coordination service dedicated to early detection and intervention for individuals in the early stages of psychosis. The goal is to provide a service that promotes early recovery for people experiencing psychosis using a biopsychosocial model and to provide support to their family and carers. The team is multidisciplinary and made up of clinical nurses, social workers, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, psychiatric registrars and a consultant psychiatrist who pride themselves on working collaboratively to enhance client care.
