This is a permanent part-time (0.5FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2026

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and organised Cleaner in Charge to lead our school cleaning team and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. In this role, you will supervise and support cleaning staff, coordinate daily operations, and provide on-the-job induction training for new team members.

You would be responsible for opening and securing the school, including operating the security alarm system, maintaining staff attendance records, arranging relief staff, and ensuring leave and allowance documentation is completed accurately. Working closely with the Manager Corporate Services, you will oversee cleaning standards through regular inspections, manage cleaning supplies, equipment, and budgets, and ensure compliance with Department policies and procedures
