Position Profile and Role
We are currently seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team.
The role of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is to support the Nurse Unit Manager and act in their role as required. The ANUM works with the NUM to provide effective leadership and efficient management of the designated area of specialty in line with the Fiona Stanley Hospital strategic direction.
The ANUM works collaboratively to improve the quality of patient care and promote desired outcomes in the patient population requiring rehabilitation management and care. As a senior nurse the ANUM has professional accountability to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery and provides mentorship and role modelling for nurses and contributes to the advancement of the profession, in keeping with the vision and values for Fiona Stanley Nursing.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is an 863-bed tertiary and quaternary hospital providing a broad range of specialised healthcare services. These include the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, dedicated mental health facilities, maternity, paediatric and neonatal care, as well as the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers highly specialised treatments such as heart and lung transplantation and hyperbaric medicine.
