This is a 6 month fixed term, part-time (0.6 FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026 with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency

Located in the southern Bunbury suburb of Withers, within 1 km of the Indian Ocean, Maidens Park Primary School (PS) is nestled in lush native gardens and shade trees.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Health and Physical Education (HPE) Primary teacher who is passionate about helping students achieve their best in both Health and Physical Education. The successful applicant will ideally inspire students to enjoy being active, make healthy choices, embrace challenges, and build confidence in their skills and abilities. Well-developed skills in managing and coordinating HPE events at a school and interschool level would be highly desirable.

Our ideal applicant would be someone who thrives in a team environment and is eager to play a part in helping our school grow. With a strong commitment to engaging lessons and high-quality teaching, you would make a valued contribution to a school where students and families genuinely love Health and Physical Education, and where your role would help shape a vibrant, supportive school community. A strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed practise is essential.
