Statewide Services provides the services and supports required by schools to enable student achievement, with a focus on those students and schools that need it most. It encompasses both school and system-facing service delivery. While it primarily exists to support schools, it also has an important system-facing role supporting strategy and policy development.

The Role

In the role of Administrative Assistant, you will use advanced features in Microsoft products to prepare documents, including brochures, spreadsheets, charts, and tables. You will manage incoming telephone calls, visitor enquiries, diary appointments, meetings, emails and other communications along with assisting with travel arrangements, including preparing travel documents, booking flights and accommodation. You will assist with the preparation of the budget, payment of accounts, credit card reconciliation, monitoring expenditure and preparing reports as required.

As the successful applicant, you will prepare, process and deliver incoming and outgoing correspondence, action routine matters by drafting responses and prepare basic reports. You will maintain an effective correspondence filing system for corporate information and records relating to projects, initiatives, committees and other activities.

In this role you will work within teams and across business units to ensure integrated service delivery to schools and the system.
