Karratha SHS is an independent public school for students from Years 7 to 12. The Role
As the Network Attendance Officer at Karratha SHS, you will provide operational support to improve student attendance and engagement by working collaboratively with staff, students, families, and external agencies. You should ideally develop and maintain effective partnerships that support students who are at risk of disengagement from education and provide guidance to staff on effective processes and strategies for managing absences. The successful applicant will collect and analyse attendance data, identify trends and areas of concern, as well as contribute to the implementation of targeted interventions to improve student attendance identified in the Karratha SHS Strategic Plan.
In this role, you will also assist with monitoring and reporting on attendance outcomes, respond to enquiries from parents and community members, and contribute to initiatives that promote positive student engagement and wellbeing. The ability to build positive relationships, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders will be highly regarded.
