This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026

The Safety Bay Primary School (PS) vision is Everyone Achieves, Everyone Belongs, Everyone Thrives and we align our core work around achievement, engagement and wellbeing.

Safety Bay PS is located within the City of Rockingham, approximately 45 km south of Perth. It has been rebuilt from the original site into a well-planned and resourced school which accommodates a growing population, sitting at approximately 600 students.

The Role

Safety Bay PS is seeking a friendly, organised and enthusiastic School Officer to join our hardworking and supportive Administration Team.

This is a varied and rewarding role that includes:

  • Financial administration, including receipting and processing payments
  • Supporting student enrolments and maintaining accurate records
  • Front counter and reception duties, providing a welcoming first point of contact
  • Supporting staff, students and families within our school community

We are ideally looking for someone who:

  • Displays good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enjoys working in a busy and dynamic school environment
  • Can work both collaboratively and with a level of independence
  • Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Is flexible, reliable and maintains a positive attitude
  • Has experience in administration and/or finance (school experience desirable but not essential)
  • Is confident using computerised systems and learning new processes (experience using Compass desirable)
