Como Secondary College (SC) is driven by the belief that every student is capable of successful learning. The College is an Independent Public-School catering for students from Year 7 to Year 12. The Role

Como SC is seeking a dedicated and motivated Marketing and Administration Officer to join their friendly team.

The successful applicant should possess sound communication skills as they will liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to organise promotional events and marketing. The position requires excellent organisational skills to meet the growing demands of the College, as well as the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. The successful applicant will ideally be highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, reliable, committed to personal and professional growth and should embrace opportunities for collaboration within the College. 

The marketing component of this role will involve assisting with the coordination of promotional and marketing events. Additionally, the selected applicant will ideally know how to use content management systems and produce and prepare various items for publishing. With the capacity to manage and maintain information systems including websites, databases, and social media, applicants should ideally have a solid understanding of the pertinent systems and policies needed to maintain, monitor, analyse, and extract information. Applicants familiar with the Department of Education's guidelines for using social media and other forms of electronic communication are encouraged to apply.

Experience and an excellent working knowledge of Schools Information System SIS (Administration), Compass, Connect and school accounting systems, such as Resource Management (RM) Finance and RM Billings would be highly desirable, as would an understanding of Adobe software InDesign and Photoshop.
