Mount Barker Community College is seeking an innovative and highly motivated Manager Corporate Services to join our outstanding executive leadership team.   

We are an Independent Kindergarten to Year 12 (K-12) Public School with a strong tradition of community connection and student success. We offer a range of senior school pathways including Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), General and Vocational Education and Training (VET), supported by our Registered Training Organisation status, with programs in Engineering, Agriculture and Rural Operations. Our facilities include a Trade Training Centre and a 364-hectare farm with livestock, vineyards and horticulture.

The Role

As Manager Corporate Services (MCS), your central responsibility is to provide comprehensive oversight of the school's critical components, namely financial, physical, and human resources. In this role, you play a key part in ensuring the efficient functioning of the school's operations. This involves supervising school support staff, guiding them in the meticulous administration of tasks related to financial management, asset maintenance, and human resource coordination.

The successful applicant will ideally possess excellent interpersonal skills, to effectively lead the administration team and continue to build a positive culture at our school. Your adept management ensures that the school's financial operations adhere to established standards and contribute to the overall success of the institution.

The MCS administers and reports on the financial integrity of the school's business operations and provides input into financial planning and budgeting as well as the administration and reporting of the diverse funding entities for which the school is responsible. In collaboration with the Principal and/or the Executive Management Team, the successful applicant will provide operational input to the development of the school business plans and will monitor the school’s financial performance against these plans.
