This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026

The Role

Highgate PS is seeking a motivated and versatile Primary Teacher to undertake a dual role, delivering both classroom teaching and Physical Education programs. For the remainder of 2026 the role would be as a full-time Physical Education teacher, but in the future, may involve a classroom teaching component depending on future school needs. Delivering engaging primary school programs aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum: Health and Physical Education (PE) and assisting with the coordination of whole‑school sporting events and carnivals.

This position is suited to a skilled teacher who is comfortable balancing classroom responsibilities with specialist Physical Education delivery and who values teamwork, student wellbeing, and engaging practice.
