About the team roles
Landgate has two exciting opportunities to join our Communications and Engagement team. These are Fixed Term Full Time positions for 12 months (with possibility of extension). Part time arrangements may be considered if they meet business needs.
As Digital Communications Officer, you’ll support the creation of content across our digital platforms, bringing creativity and technical expertise to enhance online engagement. You’ll plan and deliver social media and website content, develop visual and video assets, and use analytics to continuously improve Landgate’s digital presence.
As Senior Strategic Communications Advisor, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering communication strategies that build engagement, strengthen our reputation, and support Landgate’s strategic priorities. This hands-on role involves writing compelling content for diverse audiences, managing media and stakeholder relationships, and providing trusted communication advice across the organisation.
Both roles require strong writing skills, and a collaborative approach to delivering clear, consistent and engaging communications that reflect Landgate’s values and purpose.

Role Requirements
To be successful in the Digital Communications Officer role, please demonstrate:
- Sound presentation and written communication skills with the ability to write for a range of audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in translating design concepts to digital productions.
- High-level knowledge in the digital communications space including innovations and current technologies and software.
- Experience using analytics and insights to evaluate digital communication performance to improve continuous improvement.
To be successful in the Senior Strategic Communications Advisor role, please demonstrate:
- Proven experience in developing, implementing and evaluating communication initiatives that are aligned to agency and broader government goals
- Demonstrated ability to build key relationships using your diplomacy, advocacy, and negotiation skills to engage with stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple and changing deadlines.
- Demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to develop solutions to complex problems that result in positive outcomes
- Demonstrated capability to quickly understand organisational priorities, connect communication activity to business outcomes, provide trusted advice to leaders and anticipate emerging issues and risks.
