Examination Logistics Examinations, Certification and Testing (ECT) are seeking to establish a pool of Senior Consultant - Examinations for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2026 and up to the end of August, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
The School Curriculum and Standards Division provides administrative and secretariat services for, and implements the decisions of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority). The Authority provides quality curriculum, assessment and standards to enable all Western Australian students to become confident, creative learners and active, informed citizens who contribute positively to society.
The Role
Senior Consultants will develop designated Year 12 ATAR course written, Interstate Language and EST examination timetables in accordance with the Authority policy, practices and timelines. They will also contribute to the strategic planning and formulation of processes for the conduct, delivery and marking of designated Year 12 ATAR course, Interstate Language examinations and EST.
Suitable applicants will assist with the appointments and briefings of chief markers, markers and supervisors for designated Year 12 course examinations. In addition, they will also prepare supporting documentation, materials and review and evaluate the conduct of designated Year 12 ATAR course examinations, as required by the Authority, assisting with analysis of these examinations. Experience with maintaining effective records and databases is highly desired.
The role will include liaising with schools and students to disseminate information and coordinate the collection of data and contributing to the planning and conduct of the Authority's annual Exhibitions and Awards ceremony which recognises student achievement.
