
This is a twelve (12) month fixed term, part-time (0.8FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026 with possible extension
It is highly likely that the FTE for this position will change to 1.0FTE, depending on school budget.
This position will ideally commence at the start of Week 9, Term 2, however if the successful applicant cannot commence this time, it will commence day one, Term 3 2026.

The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher who ideally has exceptional interpersonal skills, displays a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues.
As a primary music teacher, you should promptly establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment, set high expectations and cultivating a growth mindset, while nurturing students' social and emotional development. The successful applicant will ideally be motivated, possessing the ability to teach music and be knowledgeable of the Western Australian Curriculum.
The school offers extra curriculum experiences that enhance the music program such as IMSS, Choir, Orchestra and participation in the annual Massed Choir Festival. The music specialist also supports our whole school assemblies, evening concerts, morning rehearsals and other special events.
