The Role
The successful applicant will ideally be a team player with strong organisational skills to support the management of the College kitchen. The role involves providing leadership within the kitchen team and working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, healthy meals for students, staff, and visitors, including consideration of dietary requirements. Responsibilities include staff rostering, ordering food and equipment within budget, and supporting efficient day-to-day kitchen operations.
With access to on-site farm produce, including an abattoir, the kitchen offers strong opportunities to apply ‘paddock to plate’ principles and develop menus that make good use of seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. The environment includes buffet-style service for students and staff across structured meal breaks, with additional residential catering outside school hours.
