The Role
As the first point of contact for our school, the School Officer is responsible for building positive relationships with students, parents, guardians, staff and the wider community. Using their strong interpersonal skills.
The successful applicant will ideally possess excellence in customer service delivery and be passionate about providing effective clerical support. They will be responsible for meeting and greeting visitors, answering the telephone and responding to routine enquiries. The successful applicant also assist the Manager Corporate Services and Business Support Officer and should be prepared to include themselves in other duties as directed.
The successful applicant will ideally possess good interpersonal and communication skills to work in collaboration with our administrative team. Applicants who possess a thorough working knowledge of Department of Education databases, records management systems and financial knowledge to support the Manager Corporate Services are highly desirable.
Ideally, applicants will have the skills and ability to support the administration and management of financial and human resources including RM Billing, RM Finance, Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) Faults, VET, Student Services, Compass and Integris.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.

- Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
