
Shenton College is seeking to establish a pool of versatile School Officers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year, up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointment can be made from the pool at any time for commencements during this period.

The Role
Our team of School Officers staff a range of administrative areas, ensuring exceptional service and support across our college community. The ideal applicants would have relevant experience and the ability to perform a broad range of administrative and operational tasks to a high standard. These may include customer service, enrolments, attendance and school reporting, finance and procurement processes, OHS procedures, and the management of the College’s physical assets and resources.
Suitable applicants will ideally have a sound understanding of relevant systems within a busy secondary school context. You should display strong organisational skills, the ability to manage timelines effectively, and a willingness to adapt and learn new skills. Attention to detail and working within the Department of Education procedures and processes are highly desirable.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are highly desirable to liaise effectively with staff, students, parents, and the wider College community while delivering high-quality, customer-focused service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is important, while experience with school-based administration systems such as RM Billing, RM Finance, Integris and Compass will be highly regarded.
