This is a permanent full-time position commencing May 2026

Statewide Services provides the services and supports required by schools to enable student achievement, with a particular focus on students and schools that need it most. It delivers both school-facing and system-facing services that contribute to improved teaching, learning and wellbeing outcomes across the education system.

Professional Capability drives the ongoing development of our workforce. Its purpose is to build professional capability to improve student achievement by enabling teaching and leadership excellence. The Leadership Institute as part of Statewide Services Professional Capability provides support to current and aspiring leaders through a range of initiatives and provides high quality innovative and evidence-based professional learning programs.

The Role

The role supports the implementation of system strategies and priorities by assisting in the development and delivery of professional learning resources, policies, services and initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes. It contributes subject matter expertise to inform system responses, including briefings, reports and ministerial correspondence, and supports the planning, implementation and evaluation of projects, programs and initiatives across the branch.

The position liaises with internal and external stakeholders to support the development and delivery of policies and initiatives, while coordinating and monitoring administrative systems and processes for Statewide Services. The role also gathers, records and analyses data and program evaluations to support future planning, reporting and continuous improvement.

In addition, the role provides executive and administrative support to committees and working groups, prepares a range of written documentation including briefing notes, reports, submissions and presentations, and supports project administration including records management and resource development. It also undertakes financial and administrative duties such as procurement and contract support, and assists senior staff with coordinating human resource activities while working collaboratively across teams to provide integrated service and advice to schools and the system.
