The Role
We are seeking a friendly, positive and motivated School Officer to join our administration team in a key role supporting parent engagement, office operations and school communications.
As one of the first points of contact for families and visitors, the successful applicant will play an important role in building positive, respectful and supportive relationships between home and school.
Duties may include providing administrative support across a range of front office functions, including:
- Processing student enrolments for both mainstream and IEC students, including an understanding of visa classifications
- Maintaining accurate student records and data entry using systems such as SIS, Compass and Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Supporting attendance processes and daily reporting requirements
- Coordinating student transport (including buses/taxis) and organising interpreters for IEC families
- Managing the ordering of office and teaching staff consumables
- Coordinating maintenance requests, repairs and contractor bookings
- Maintaining key school registers and administrative records
- Managing and maintaining excursion payments, documentation and associated processes
- Assisting with general administrative tasks, communications and front office operations
- Supporting student-related activities, including enrolments and other administrative processes
- Assisting the Manager Corporate Services with financial, physical and human resource functions, while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Familiarity with RM Billing, RM Finance and HRMIS (desirable).
The successful applicant will work closely with the administration and leadership team to support the smooth day-to-day operations of the school.

- Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
