The School
Armadale Senior High School (SHS) is an Independent Public School dedicated to providing students from Year 7 to Year 12 with strong academic achievement and positive engagement. The Role
Armadale SHS is seeking enthusiastic and collaborative teachers who have the skills and knowledge to achieve excellence in the subject of Design and Technology.
The successful applicant should teach across a range of Design and Technology subject areas and should have experience in delivering Vocational Education and Training programs. This includes lower and senior school course delivery in Home Economics, Wood, Metal (including Jewellery), Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Certificate courses – whilst is highly desirable, not essential.
The successful applicant will ideally be student and relationship focused, highly motivated, innovative and able to work effectively in a team environment. They will ideally possess an engaging and energetic teaching style, promoting an environment of active and positive learning in their classroom and should be committed to providing high quality learning opportunities and activities for all students, enabling each of them to make connections with the ‘real world’ and develop the skills needed to be successful at school and in the future.
