The Role

We are looking for a welcoming, professional, and highly organised Facilities Resource Coordinator to join our team.

In this role, you should coordinate the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance, and safety of the school’s facilities, grounds, and amenities, including specialist areas such as the school pool and tennis courts. Working in close partnership with the Manager Corporate Services, you should help ensure our learning environments are safe, functional, and well maintained, meeting operational, regulatory, and community expectations.

The position includes direct supervision of the Gardener/Handyperson team, providing clear guidance and supporting the effective delivery of grounds services and minor maintenance works.

Ideally, the successful applicant should bring experience coordinating both planned and reactive maintenance, supporting asset management and lifecycle planning, liaising with contractors and trades, and maintaining accurate records, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation. The role also involves assisting with budget monitoring, processing invoices, and supporting facilities‑related funding submissions.

A strong focus on Occupational Health and Safety compliance and building standards is highly regarded, along with the ability to respond efficiently to facilities‑related enquiries and deliver high‑quality customer service. This role suits someone who works confidently with a high level of autonomy and takes pride in maintaining welcoming, well‑kept environments.

Previous experience in project management would be highly regarded.
