The Role
We're actively seeking an enthusiastic Humanities and Social Sciences teacher to join our dynamic team. We're looking for a candidate with proficiency in teaching a range of Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) subjects. The successful candidate will ideally excel in engaging students across diverse contexts within the HASS Learning Area, harnessing their expertise and skills. A deep understanding of the Learning Area's requirements is crucial to ensure our students can fully unlock their potential throughout their educational journey.
At Cecil Andrews College, we're dedicated to implementing the science of learning. We're in search of an individual enthusiastic about joining us on this educational journey. Our teaching community embraces whole-school pedagogies, particularly Explicit Direct Instruction and High Impact Instructional Strategies. We foster a collaborative learning environment that encourages ongoing professional development. Adaptability and a strong willingness to learn are desirable qualities for this position. The role requires the ability to leverage data for curriculum differentiation and introduce innovative strategies to enhance outcomes across all performance levels. The successful applicant will ideally have the opportunity to work across Year 7 to 12, according to college needs, and bring their expertise to the HASS Learning Area.
