We are seeking to establish a pool of Associate Principals for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Piara Waters West (planning name) will be a bespoke, state of the art, educational facility with classes from Kindergarten to Year 6, along with an Endorsed Education Support Program (EESP), specialist learning spaces, collaborative planning and meeting spaces, library and undercover area.

The Role

The Associate Principals at Piara Waters West should showcase their leadership style and personal approach to their role through research and evidence-based approaches to organisational health and wellbeing. Suitable applicants will ideally display outstanding personal and leadership qualities that align to embedding a high-performance team culture and agreed whole school approaches to teaching and learning across Kindergarten to Year 6.

They should draw upon relational leadership experience to build lasting and professional partnerships with students, their families and the staff to the highest level. They should also display exceptional knowledge and expertise in implementing contemporary curriculum and pedagogical practices to build staff capacity across the breadth of the curriculum.

Experience in tracking, collection and analysis of data will be integral as the basis to supporting all students to progress, in addition to providing targeted support to those children from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Applicants should demonstrate how they use data sources and research to inform decision making, develop and drive effective and accountable teams, in addition to determining the next steps in learning for their students. Knowledge and experience in either early childhood, or middle/ upper primary phases of education will be highly desirable.

Piara Waters West will have an Endorsed Education Support Program along with innovatively designed facilities and resourcing. Suitable applicants will ideally have extensive knowledge in inclusive practices and be passionate about the opportunity to work in an integrated, one school model. The Associate Principals should have a team mindset and will work together, along with the members of the leadership team to establish and develop the Endorsed Education Support Program.
