Beenyup Primary is an Independent Public School in Byford, WA, which caters for children from Kindergarten to Year Six. Beenyup proudly opened its gates in 2020 and is located in the growing town of Byford. The name of our school acknowledges the original Noongar name of Byford and means 'place of water.

The Role
Join our team as a Gardener - Handyperson and contribute to fostering a positive learning environment! As a key member, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the school grounds, ensuring they are safe, tidy, and conducive to a positive environment for both students and staff. From overseeing the turf areas, garden beds, and shrubs to managing hard landscaping features like courts and paving, you'll play a vital role in creating an inviting and inspiring outdoor space.
Your commitment to maintaining gardening facilities, equipment, and tools in a good condition will be integral to promoting a positive culture within the school. Collaborate with the Manager of Corporate Services to develop safe work procedures, undertake risk assessments, and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) legislation.
