
We are seeking to establish a pool of Administration Assistant for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period. This pool will be used to fill positions at both our South Lake and Padbury hubs.
School of Special Educational Needs: Disability (SSEN:D)
SSEN:D provides state-wide support to schools to maximize learning outcomes for students with diagnosed and imputed disabilities. We provide consultancy services to educators, contextualized and evidence-based professional learning, online research, information, resources and practical support. The Role
We are seeking a pool of Administrative Assistants to support our school operations, based working out of our South Lake and Padbury hub. This role provides a broad range of administrative services. Suitable applicants will ideally display excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. A high level of competence with Microsoft 365 and other office software applications is highly desirable, as suitable applicants would use these tools daily to deliver efficient and effective support.
The Administrative Assistant would prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes, manages incoming telephone calls, visitor enquiries, diary appointments, meetings, emails, and other communication. Suitable applicants should also assist with travel arrangements for staff, purchase card reconciliation and the support and induction of school support staff. In this role, applicants would assist the Manager Corporate Services with the checking and processing of professional learning applications, general human resource duties, budget preparation and other administrative tasks as directed.
The Administrative Assistant may also be responsible for maintaining various SSEN:D databases and spreadsheets.
