The Role

As a key member of the administrative team, you will work closely with the Principal to provide educational leadership both within the school and the broader community. Your primary focus will ideally be on developing and promoting the school's vision, encouraging active participation from school staff, community volunteers, and other stakeholders, all within the context of the Technology & Enterprise and VET learning areas.

In your capacity as a curriculum leader, you will play a crucial role in providing professional guidance to design and technology teachers, ensuring that they stay informed on relevant curriculum issues within your designated area. You will be instrumental in facilitating teaching and learning outcomes, employing effective performance management strategies, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement among the school's academic community.

A key aspect of your role may involve implementing change management strategies to lead the school community in accepting and developing opportunities for improved service within your specified subject area. Your contributions will extend to the collaborative development of the school business plan, involving participative decision-making, policy development, and the establishment of necessary systems.
