Yanchep Secondary College (SC) provides young people in the Yanchep area with a high quality, comprehensive education. Yanchep Secondary College opened in 2018 in a brand new purpose built school. We offer a broad, high-level curriculum encompassing academic programs and vocational courses to provide students with opportunities to pursue learning interests that inspire and challenge them.
The school has a commercial kitchen and cafe and an arts centre for visual and performing arts. The school is designed to give students access to specialist subject teaching and the best learning practices to promote success and excellence. Future plans include additional teaching blocks.

The Role
The Success Applicant should ideally have proven abilities in learning program planning and instructional practice to facilitate improved student outcomes. We are seeking teachers who are ideally strong team players who support improvement in teaching and learning in a Secondary College environment. You would model a culture of self-reflection and engagement in coaching that promotes your professional growth.
The successful applicant would have a moral purpose that aligns to making a difference in the lives of young people by preparing them to be active and productive adults. This includes the commitment and desire to create and sustain a safe, student-centred environment. You should support the English Learning Area team to strategically meet the learning needs of all students studying English curriculum, including students with disabilities and special needs.
You should ideally possess excellent communication and public relation skills that allows you to build and maintain collaborative and respectful partnership across the college and the wider community
