We are seeking to establish a pool of Library Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027 Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

As the Library Officer you would ideally support the day-to-day operations of the library and provision of reference, information, and associated services to teaching staff and students. Other responsibilities of the Library Officer may include assisting students and staff with the selection of appropriate reading resources and supervising small groups of students in class learning activities relating to the library.

Suitable applicants provide general clerical and library support, including preparing correspondence and booking equipment and facilities and maintain the resources and environment of the school library to support the learning outcomes of students. They would also operate library systems which ensure library records, budgeting are up-to-date and library resources are maintained and accessible.
