
We are seeking to establish a pool of Teachers K-2 for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Ranford Primary School is an Independent Public School located in the suburb of Canning Vale. We currently have 608 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. In 2014, the school received a Department of Education of Western Australia Certificate of Excellence, acknowledging that the teaching and learning programs, leadership and learning environment was of an exemplary standard as determined by an independent expert review panel. In 2015 the school was named WA Primary School of the Year. We have been a Quality Teaching Strategy (QTS) Lead School since 2023.

The Role
We are seeking dedicated Early Years teachers who have high expectations of student achievement and are skilled in effectively differentiating the curriculum to cater for Kindergarten to Year 2 students, inclusive of English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) students, as well as those who require support or extension and challenge.
Suitable applicants will ideally have a strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum, Early Years Learning Framework and the NQS. They will be able to provide meaningful opportunities to students in K-2 through a balanced approach of play-based learning and explicit teaching to foster resiliency, connection of the learning to the student’s world and student well-being. Ranford Primary has a well embedded Visible Learning Pedagogy that underpins the teaching and learning environment in every classroom.
Ideally applicants should possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a Professional Learning Community. They should build positive working relationships with parents, families and all staff across the school community.
Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education, Media Arts, Science etc). Only applicants in the pool possessing the required qualifications, will be considered for appointment in these circumstances..
