Piara Waters West (Planning Name) will be a school of choice for the Piara Waters community, where the health and wellbeing of all stakeholders will be the foundation to creating kind, accomplished and future focussed individuals. Piara Waters West (planning name) will be a bespoke, state of the art educational facility for 640 students, including 50 students participating in an Endorsed Education Support Program. The collaborative vision between TAG Architects and McCorkhill construction was to create an educational establishment that reflects the Western Australian natural environment, and a school that promotes student engagement in a variety of conducive learning spaces.

The Role
The Manager of Corporate Services leads in partnership with the school principal to determine strategic, operational direction for the school in various areas, including financial performance and planning, branding and public relations, human resources, school and student administration, in addition to the development of the workforce and business plans. The role of the Manager of Corporate Services is to ensure that the school remains well resourced, well maintained, compliant and focussed on the teaching and learning across the school, in line with the school’s vision and business plan priorities.
The successful applicant would be recognised for their exceptional people skills, identifying strengths in their colleagues and promoting work styles that embraces these attributes to develop an effective team. They should be a positive and exceptional team leader, working with the team to create high level processes and procedures to maintain financial integrity, accurate recording and auditing compliance and reporting requirements for the school’s business operations. They should model a high level of professional customer service and be a solutions focussed individual, with the ability to identify patterns and process improvements with big picture thinking and student outcomes at the forefront of all decisions made.
The school will commence operations with Phase 2 of the Kaartdijin Program. The successful applicant will ideally be confident in the use of Compass and motivated to accept the challenge of training and upskilling others.
