Gnowangerup is a small town with a diverse population just an hour and a half’s drive north of Albany in WA’s Great Southern region. Over recent years, Gnowangerup District High School (DHS) has been on a purposeful journey of improvement centred around our updated school vision and current business plan that drives all school decisions. The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible teacher to deliver high‑quality Physical Education across the school (Year 1-10), along with providing DOTT (Duties Other Than Teaching) provision in our Primary classes and selected Secondary classes, with the subject area being flexible to the successful applicant’s strengths.
The successful applicant will:
- Teach Physical Education to students across multiple year levels (Year 1 to 10).
- Deliver DOTT curriculum in Primary classes, with some flexibility to teach an additional subject area depending on the successful applicant’s strengths and qualifications.
- Contribute to the planning, organisation, and coordination of school carnivals and sporting events
