Carnaby Rise Primary School, located in Landsdale, opened in 2017 as an Independent Public Private Partnership school (PPP) School catering for children from Kindergarten to Year 6 with around 570 students.

Through consultation and collaboration, we have worked with the local community to develop a vision to shape the direction of our school to reflect the uniqueness and diversity of our children. Our school has state-of-the-art facilities and resources to cater for teaching and learning in the 21st century.

The Role

The School Officer would support the Manager of Corporate Services in managing the school's financial resources. Key responsibilities include accounts and GST coding, financial record reconciliation, and invoice processing. The School Officer would also assist with month-end procedures and compile data for financial planning and budgeting to facilitate informed decision-making.

Beyond financial responsibilities, the School Officer would contribute to the management of school assets and undertake student-related administrative tasks. These tasks include processing enrolments and attendance through Compass, coordinating incursions and excursions, organising school tours, and supporting the planning and execution of special events. Additionally, the School Officer would assist with the induction and ongoing support of administrative staff by developing induction materials and coordinating relief staff.

The successful applicant will ideally display excellence in customer service and administrative support, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and have experience with student information systems.
