We are seeking to establish a pool of Learning Support Program Coordinators for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Kiara College is a vibrant learning community located on the western edge of the Swan Valley. We are a proudly Independent Public School with the unique characteristic of having a working farm on our site. Catering for Years 7 to 12, Kiara College offers comprehensive and innovative programs that support students to achieve their potential. Students can follow an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), General or Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways, preparing them for university entry, TAFE, or employment. Our partnerships with tertiary institutions such as ECU UniPrep and North Metro TAFE facilitate students’ success beyond school. We offer two Specialist Programs: Agriculture and Basketball. Students are also able to study Contemporary Music. We also comprehensively cater for neurodiverse students through of our Specialist Learning Program – Autism (SLP-A) which opened in 2025.

The Role

The Learning Support Program Coordinator, will work collaboratively with the Principal and members of the administrative team to provide educational leadership within the school and the community. They would develop and promote the school's vision for academic success and lead with a particular focus on support Students at Educational Risk (SAER).

The Learning Support - Program Coordinator would develop and implement intervention programs and maintain oversight of NCCD data tracking and monitoring. Using effective change strategies, they will lead the school community to develop opportunities for improved service for SAER students by incorporating a trauma informed and inclusive approach, implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and utilising a data informed, and evidence based, decision-making approach to cater for all students, including those transitioning from Year 6.

The role may include a teaching component of up to 0.4 FTE where best practice can be modelled.
