The Role
In collaboration with the principal and other members of the administrative team, the Deputy Principal, provides educational leadership in the school and the community by helping develop and promote the school values, ethos and priorities, and encouraging staff, volunteers from the community and others to share ownership of the school’s vision and goals. The suitable applicants would ideally use effective change management strategies to assist the school community to accept and develop opportunities for improved services. The position ideally requires someone who can add to the warmth and responsiveness of our school culture, bring strategic insight and strength in planning and implementation of projects.
The suitable applicants would ideally also work in assisting the Principal with Departmental policies and procedures, management of financial, physical, information technology and human resources. As Deputy Principal, you would ideally ensure staff members are provided with timely and appropriate feedback about their performance.

- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
