This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 2, 2026

Wanneroo Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public School situated in the North Metropolitan Education District. The school caters to 400 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and has a long and positive history with its local surrounds, being established in 1899. At Wanneroo PS the focus is on providing an environment where students are supported to achieve and successes are celebrated. There is a high level of professionalism amongst Wanneroo PS staff, where all members of the team have high expectations of each other.

The Role

As the Manager Corporate Services, you will work closely with the principal and administration team to manage the financial, physical and human resource processes of the school. You will ideally play a significant role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of school business processes, including the supervision of support staff and the coordination of tasks related to financial management, asset maintenance and human resource administration. Your leadership would support compliance with Department policies and procedures and contribute to the overall effectiveness of school operations.

A key responsibility of the position would be to maintain and report on the financial integrity of the school’s business operations. This may include contributing to financial planning and budget development and providing informed advice to support sound decision-making and the ongoing financial sustainability of the school.

The position requires a flexible and collaborative team member with well-developed communication skills and display knowledge of the systems and policies required to maintain, monitor, analyse and extract information using RM Finance, RM Billing, RM Asset Manager, Compass, Flexipurchase and the Recruitment Advertising Management System (RAMS). Experience with end-of-month, end-of-calendar-year and end-of-financial-year processes is highly desirable, along with a strong understanding of procurement requirements within government and school systems.

The school is transitioning to Phase 2 of the Kaartdijin Program, and the successful applicant should display a willingness to learn and implement new systems and processes as part of this change.
