Your new role
We are seeking an
enthusiastic and suitably experienced person for the role of Data
Analyst within the Workforce Data and Analytics team, part of
Assurance, Compliance and Analytics in Workforce and Organisational
Development.
We have a Permanent Full
Time appointment and a Fixed Term Full Time appointment until
31/12/2026 available with the possibility of extension(s) and/or
permanency.
In this role, you will work
with workforce data across the WA health system to support
performance reporting, compliance, and evidence-based decision
making. Your responsibilities will include:
- Extracting, transforming
and analysing workforce data from large-scale Human Resource
database systems, using SQL and business intelligence tools to
produce accurate, timely reporting for stakeholders across WA
Health.
- Developing and
maintaining interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI,
translating complex data into clear insights that drive
continuous improvement and inform workforce
planning.
- Supporting the integrity
and governance of workforce data across multiple systems and
sources, contributing to data quality assurance and alignment
with compliance standards and service level
agreements.
- Collaborating with
analysts, team leaders and senior stakeholders to scope
reporting requirements, respond to ad hoc data requests, and
contribute to the ongoing development of the team's analytical
capability.
