We are seeking to establish a pool of Design and Technology (D&T) – Aviation - Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Morley SHS is ideally seeking passionate and innovative D&T – Aviation Teachers to help shape the future of our students through our acclaimed Approved Specialist Aviation Program. Ideally, we are seeking educators who are committed to delivering outstanding learning experiences and driving excellence in aviation education. The suitable applicants will ideally have experience and/or hold a Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) or a willingness to undertake drone operation training.

There is a position commencing in Term 2, 2026 which offers flexible working arrangements, with negotiable FTE and may include teaching in an additional Learning Area depending on the suitable applicant’s curriculum skills and expertise.

Our Aviation Program combines theoretical instruction, flight simulation, and real-world flying experiences, giving students the opportunity to take to the skies above Perth. We’re seeking teachers with a multi-disciplinary approach, ideally with a strong foundation in Engineering, Physics, and a broad understanding of the Aviation Industry.
