The Role
The suitable applicants would support the effective operation of the school’s Information Technology (IT) environment by maintaining network systems, ensuring compliance with Departmental asset management and security standards, and providing informed technical advice to staff. The role includes researching and implementing system enhancements, delivering technical support and training to all users, and maintaining the security and integrity of educational and administrative data.
The suitable applicants would work collaboratively with the Department of Education’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Support team to resolve hardware, software, and network issues, and will contribute to broader support networks to improve system reliability and user experience. Responsibilities also include the installation, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of IT equipment across Ridge View SC and up to two local primary schools, under the direction of the ICT Manager.
The ideal applicants would display strong communication skills, problem‑solving ability, initiative in researching solutions, and the capacity to work effectively within a team.
