We are seeking to establish a pool of Deputy Principal’s for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year.  Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Coodanup College is a co-educational public college which is located 80 kilometers south of Perth in the beautiful, coastal City of Mandurah. Catering for Years 7 to 12, we aim to instil ambition and drive in our students throughout their six years at Coodanup, supporting them to gain confidence in their abilities.

The Role

We are looking for an individual who can collaborate with the Principal and Leadership team to provide the best educational outcomes for our students and support the development of key areas of priority within the college’ business plan. The College is a Positive Behaviour School (PBS) promoting the following values: We will learn, we will be fair, we will be proud, and we will be Safe throughout the classrooms and our community.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have high emotional intelligence, excellent interpersonal skills and be culturally responsive. As a strategic leader at the college, you will be responsible for a range of portfolios that may include timetabling, human resource management and Workplace Safety and Health, Attendance, Relief and First Aid/Medical Health, Student Services, Teaching and Learning and Operations, and experience in these areas will be desirable.

The ability to plan and deliver outcome driven interventions for tiers of students that result in high levels of success is desirable, as you will also have pastoral care responsibilities for two year groups.
