The Role
As a cleaner, you will play a vital function ensuring the school is a clean, safe and hygienic environment for our staff, students, and community members.
Cleaners carry out internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, dusting, rubbish removal, and other items of general cleaning. In addition to this, you will also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, removal of cobwebs and other general cleaning.
As a cleaner, you will also carry out vacation cleaning duties, including the stripping, and sealing of vinyl floors, window cleaning, shampooing of carpets, pressure cleaning of verandas and undercover areas and other such duties as required by the Cleaner in Charge.
