The Role
As the Program Coordinator - Student Services, the successful applicant will ideally display leadership skills and experience with encouraging the school community. They should also have the ability to develop and promote the school vision and goals.
The successful applicant will ideally be able to facilitate workforce effectiveness through complex case management, including coordinating multi-agency responses and supporting families with diverse and high-level needs. They should have a comprehensive understanding of NDIS processes and supports, with the ability to assist families in navigating plans, liaising with providers. The ability to train, mentor, and upskill staff in: Functional Behaviour Assessment (FBA) processes and social-emotional coaching strategies would be highly beneficial.
A specialist knowledge in ADHD, including current best‑practice strategies and the ability to develop, communicate, and review ADHD management plans in collaboration with staff and families along with experience supporting students with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), including the development of individualised management plans that reflect trauma‑informed, low-demand, and relational approaches are highly desirable qualities.
